    If your liking claptons I would suggest looking into higher gauge Nichrome80 for the wraps. Like 34,36,40 gauge wires. The ramp up time will be quicker. Or even 32 Nichrome.

    Using straight kanthal should work in your RX200. If you were using Nichrome80 I can be sure it'll be lower in ohms. The RX200 can read from .1-and above in VW mode. Let's see the pic of the coil mounted in the atomizer.

    Some 18650 battery heat shrink wraps will help out. I wrap some of my Sony batteries and used a heat Gun.
