    Hi fellow vapers

Welcome to ECF! These people have answers for everything vaping. The coffee does work, most of the time. And despite buying all that gear, in the end you will save so much money. I use the same juice all day, every day. It tastes different enough through the day, to satisfy me. But, for you...

    Success rates......

When the urge for a cig hits I just say to myself " this too shall pass"! So, I sit on my hands and wait it out. I also use 18mg/ml. which helps. When I cut down from 24mg/ml I had some heebie jeebies and wanted a smoke, so I just vaped more. Try explaining that to someone, quit smoking and vape...

    Hopeful newbie

Welcome! It takes a while to find your sweet spot. Just keep at it. And do have some higher nic around, just in case. I sometimes still think I want a cig after almost three years of not smoking! I started off at 24mg/ml and two years later I am only down to 18mg/ml! It is all about the nic for me!

coil frustration - mini protank 3 and iclear x.1

You might thin out your juice a bit. There are several ways to do this, distilled water, alcohol, higher pg content also works. Good luck!

Already waiting for first recharge - gonna need more of these

I am a minimalist and I have 5 protanks, 1 RTA, 2 itaste batteries, 2 isticks(they really do last me all day!), 1 Ipv35( too big and rarely use it) plus 6 ego-style 350 and 650 batteries. I use the ego style batteries at work, they fit in my pocket better. It really is good to have back-ups...

    Disneyland story.

The last time I flew out of Islip Airport, I asked and was told that vaping was OK anywhere in the airport. I vaped on the plane, and blew the vape down at my feet, no one knew! I do feel funny vaping in some areas, if children are present. The "cool" factor is my concern with teens. If it says...

First RTA, first build attempt, suggestions?

That looks good! If you get too many dry hits stuff the cotton down in the channel a little more. Here is mine with 28G 10 wraps with readyXwick, 2mm, I lay the wick right in the top part of the channel and never get a dry hit. I also chain vape! The readyXwick makes it possible to torch right...

A step in the right direction--House Leadership Calls for a Change to the Grandfather Date

Any guesses who picked 2007 as a date? (Big tobacco?)

A step in the right direction--House Leadership Calls for a Change to the Grandfather Date

That would be good news for sure. Otherwise we will be stuck with old technology!

2 years clean today... Please share your success story too!!!

Razorback, Yours is a great success story! I am sure you feel much better, and the weight, though it may concern you, is not as dangerous as the smoking was. I, too give away set-ups to people who would like to try vaping. More, and more people are interested, as our stories of giving up the...

    Ear-ringing

I did not know that, sometimes my ears ring worse at night. I vape pretty steady from 8 to midnight. I always have ringing, but, now I know why it may get worse. I vape 18mg/ml all the time. I have learned to make my thoughts louder than the ringing, so I guess, that is good.

    Whats your day job?

That "special breed" of evil is absolutely the worst type! You are to be commended! The children of this world need "love" not "victimization". The only thought I had is how tough your job must be: to see evil everywhere. I hope you do realize that if you save one child you have actually saved a...

    Whats your day job?

I work on this yacht as a stewardess and 1st Mate. I basically run the insides of the yacht while the Captain runs the yacht. You all might think it is glamorous, but just this week I had to provision for a 14 day trip. I bought $580 of FOOD! ( I spent 2 hours picking it all out (2 cartloads) (a...

Need a good flavour which I wont get bored of??

Look around the UK and see if any company has bulk prices, if I buy 125ml (about equal to 4 bottles of 30ml) I save between 40 and 50%! My all the time vape is pretty bland as it is ryu. I can't vape some flavors as they are too smelly on the boat I work on and the Captain complains.

cutting down on 24mg without losing thoat hit

I just cut down from 20mg/ml to 16mg/ml and I went up on the wattage to make the smoke denser, it helped. I also take longer and slower draws. I vaped 24mg/ml for over two years and loved it. The only reason I am trying to cut the nic is because I feel that we may face juice shortages, when BT...

FDA FDA changed deadline for signing up to speak at Dec 10/11 e-cigarette workshop, prevents e-cig advocates from speaking

Well, that is Big Government and Big Tobacco working together, again, to keep us silent! Who can we complain to, Bob?

    Starting to Get Somewhat Discourage

roxynoodle is SO right, most people who are just in to vaping think you hit it like a cig. My draws take between 3 to 5 seconds. Go slower then you think. I got so much flooding before I learned the "slow and low" way. You will find your way. Hang in there! :2cool:

What is in the standard DIY eJuice makers juice making kit?

I found small funnels too be helpful when filling your day bottles. Make sure you have a good block of time, you don't want to rush, and mess up. Write it down AS you do the measurments- it keeps you on track. Use good juice calculators. Have fun with flavors! A 30ml bottle of 18mg/ml costs...
