That's a clever idea, thanks Spaky. I ordered some 24mg unflavored for DIY. The charcoal coffee flavor has a very nice dark taste, but 6mg would put me to sleep. Great, now I'm going to have to do math to get a 12mg mix. Who knew I'd be happy to get charcoal in my stocking this year...
Well, maybe I should go back and try that arch. You must have been using that for a few weeks now, right?
I started using original poly-fil that came in a bag, went through several materials, and finally settled on pressed poly-fil sheets. I gave up on using anything metallic and now just use...
Okay, so here is the updated plastic version that I'm currently using. If you're not familiar with the progress of this mod, check the very first posting.
What I'm currently using is plastic strips. You can use almost any flat thin plastic. A 2 liter bottle would work as long as it's thin...
If you go with the Cignot kit (about the same as China price) you will notice something you don't usually see which is a choice of AUTOMATIC or MANUAL batteries. On the manual you press a button to turn it on and it is the preferred battery. You have more control. With the automatic it activates...
The three places--with good prices--I know to get Janty juice are as follows...
eJuice
Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store.
Joyetech E-Liquid 20ml Bottles - America's Best Buys
I just ordered RY4, Marlboro, and Apple Janty juice and to be honest it really wasn't any better than...
When I started I was smoking during the day and vaping at night to see if it would satisfy me. Eventually, I gave my cigarettes away. But I do know people who just switched cold turkey. It was that morning cigarette and just before bed one that were the hardest to give up. I think the 510 has...
I noticed it, too. I actually like the idea of the metal ring, it seems to cut down on flooding. Even when dripping the liquid tends to go to the center. Flooding was always a problem I had with the 901 and I haven't experience it since I got the new 901 attys. I've been using a 510 cartridge...
Great job, Knorm! Picks came through just fine. I'm using just a very thin strip of plastic at this point, just cut from whatever thin piece of plastic I can find around the house, and it's working very well for me. Once you switch to the ADM there's no going back. Hopefully I can get some...
I've been using Web Vent Filters for months. They're thin sheets of ploy-fil very similar to the kind used in making real carts. They're only a few millimeters thick, so a double layer works perfectly for creating new carts or mods.
In fact I just changed them out in my air registers--yes...
I vote for KR8, too! I'm tired of typing it out. Even "Vapor King" is a handful. At least the Joye 510 has a cute nickname. But nobody calls it a YETI much since 510 is easy to type.
Reminds me of the movie Creepshow...

P.S. KR8 idea!
There was a little confusion about the content of this posting (which is too old to edit). When I said to add the following three to "the list", it was the list of people who make their own juice!
I actually like Dekang juice, but I respect the people going out and trying to do something...
The Automatic Drip Mod. The one with the spring from a pen. I'm using plastic and a little larger filler to create a better seal which allows you to top off the cart or fill it with juice.

I've been soaking mine for 6 months without a problem. I guess the thing to remember is there are no "electronics" in it. Just wires. And, in case you haven't though about it, when you direct drip or put a cartridge in place you're adding liquid.
The trick is to let it fully dry before using...
Actually looks like a good deal. I've been looking for a "here try this" set up for a while at a good price and have never run across these before. Disposables are okay, but it's better if your first experience is with a great e-cig like the 510. It's like getting the best at disposable prices...
I like their menthol. It's a very clean taste to me. It's not supposed to have any tobacco taste to it, so if that's what you're looking for you'll have to mix it with a tobacco flavor.
The green tea tastes like green tea, which has almost no flavor at all. Try the black tea. It kind of...
Wow, this is the first review I've ever hear the term "bass draped" used.
I used to have a DSE103 and gave it away. I had moved on to other models that fit my needs better. The recipient used it for months and loved it. I got it to replace a DSE306A which was the size of a cigarette and had a...
I'm really lovin' the adapters. I can now use 501, 306, 801, 901, and KR808D-1 atomizers and only have to deal with one set of batteries. I spent enough money my first month trying to find the right model, now it only costs a few bucks to try something new. So, I'm delighted. When they add a 410...
I'm still impressed that you had a working avatar after only your second post! I think it took me three posts to figure it out.
Here is the way I learned. It's not exact, but it's a good starting place based on what you smoke.
36 mg = death wish
24 mg = unfiltered
18 mg =...
USP means pharmaceutical grade and is of the highest quality. I don't think the Wilton says anything like that. But I've never heard any complaints. Most "food" items wouldn't be pharmaceutical grade anyway. Just good eats.

I skipped a step in my e-cig evolution and got a 901 first. I love the adapters because I could try the 801 without committing to a whole kit. I keep it by my passthrough and use it for dripping from time to time when I'm cleaning my 510 atomizer.
