I can't say anything Tony I have 2 provarys waiting to send in for repair. The DID always survives the fall. Provari while tough is not tough enough. Thankfully Provape have excellent and cheap repair service.
The DID likes a long ground. Get a small screwdriver and push the bottom coil wire between the wick and negative post in and down (towards the center post). This will snug up the bottom coil and make the ground longer. Then as you fire start moving coils around. Start with the second one. Often...
Too funny to see us all looking for anything glass like that could become a wick sleeve. I have to confess that I also purchased some Pyrex tubes and nearly went to RadioShack to find a fuse.
Hi and welcome to the world of rebuild ables. I would cut a piece 4 x 8cm. Torch the whole piece for a few seconds in each area. Then roll into a fairly solid wick. I wrap the coil on my wick then torch it until the wick and coil glows red for 10 seconds or so. Install the wick and secure the...
OK.....the coil is too loose but you probably know that, a loose coil won't tighten with tinkering. Also your wick is too tall. After tightening up your coil cut the wick at or below the level of the top nut. The top cap can easily short on the top of the wick. With a 3/2 wrap you are going to...
You could always get a second job. I have a little part time job that provides my vape budget. The money made from that job goes exclusively to pampering my vape addiction. This allows me to spend guilt free.
Ultra low ohms I have tinkered with using my GGTS and MNKE batteries. They can handle up to a 30 amp draw. The low ohm could to sacrifice flavor in my opinion. So I am in the been there done that category and am now quite happy with my 1.2 to 1.6 ohm coils.
I have had a few bad wick days and resorted to silica a time or 3. I have one juice that tastes so much better with silica one of the beauties of the genesis is that you can use anything. I set one RBA up today with cotton ball wick and it is working great.
The mesh Jim sells is 4 x 10cm. I think setting a DID up on a provari makes you expert really quick . I have no problems setting it up. that way. I do have a BAM mod that iI typically use for initial firing of the coils. It is an extremely solid working surface.
Adjust the coild

Welcome Dee you will love the DID. Prepare for a few hours of a learning curve when building your first wick. Have another vaping device with you so that you can relax and take your time. 32 awg works fine as a 3/4 or 4/5 wrap and will give you 1.6 to 2 ohm coil depending on how thick your wick...
