Are you referring to the cleaning of connections for mechanical devices.
If so then I am a bit lazy, I probably only clean my connections monthly or so. I use a fiberglass pentip brush and noalox on all my connections. The DID doesn't leak at all so my 510 connection stays clean.
Jim it has been a pleasure to follow you on your journey. With all the new atomizers and mods out there yours is still the only one consistently available on a web site. I see many others promising ample inventory only to be sold out. Your business acumen will serve you well. I have many genesis...
Actually Tony I feel for your poor wick- I am concerned there may be some DID wick abuse going on. I located the DID protective services agency 1-800-HELP-DID.
I run 3 mods...provari, GGTS, and my roller mod. My ohms are around 1.3. My manual mods run with MNKE batteries, the provari with AW, the provari I run at 3.5 volts. I vape fruits so I don't need high watts.
The egos don't like low resistance for some reason. Mine won't fire with my 1.3 ohm...

Sounds like you have a wonky positive connection. Your coil looks good. Check the positive nuts and make sure the wire is making good connection with the positive pole. If all good there then check the DID to PV connection. Clean all the contact points on PV ....switch to battery then the 510...
They fit really well. I did have one tank that was broken. They were shipped in an envelope in a 'thingy'. I think the 'thingy' will be a great wick holder....perfect size.
All my wicks are now 500 solid. I was using 110mm but recently decreased it down to 80mm....it is thin enough to make a gap around the wick. The main reason for making a skinnier wick was not for poor wicking but to decrease the heatsink that was caused by the big wick. I can also make a 3/4...
Jim put a suggestion on the DID thread to screw your cap on pulling up and then unscrew pushing down to see if that fixes the threads. If that doesn't help you can use an O ring at the base of the threads to line up the cap and then order a new top cap from MM vapors. The new top cap come with...
