    I do my wick the same way except I wrap the coil on the wick then do the 2nd oxidation but only in the coil area. I find that less is more effective when torching a wick.

    I tried 500 mesh with a center hole with very poor results. 500 as a solid wick is superb and all I use now.

    You can charge the monster batteries on the 6 bay x-star charger. Looks odd but works well. Don't bother with the kick and 26500, go with the 26650 MNKE batteries. They last forever.     Take a couple of days vacation from your job. No need to add mesh or anything to my kit. I am all set (with a lifetime supply of mesh and kanthal). Can you tell me how tall to cut the mesh. I bought some high dollar 635 mesh just for the macaveli and would like to prepare a wick.

    2.2 ohms is a bit high for a 3/4 wrap with 30awg. That is my preferred wrap and on the fattest wick I get 1.6 ohms. On my slightly thinner wick I get 1.3 ish ohms. Mat need to tinker a tiny bit more....lift the wick slightly from the bottom of the tank. Make sure it is not touching the center...

    I do a 4/3 wrap of 30awg....it gives me 1.3 to 1.5 depending on how fat my wick is. You can vape this at 3.7 to 4.2 volts. Provary will go higher but I vape fruits so don't need high voltage. The 30awg will provide instant vapor but with less short problems than 32awg.
