    I do my first loose wrap around the Allen wrench and then take it off and tighten the roll in my fingers. Never could get past the square feeling of the wrench as I rolled the wick. Very hard for me to get the wrap tight enough.

    I must be strange I tear my DIDs down several times a week just for fun. Tonight I tore 2 down and changed the coils to 30 awg just to see how it vaped like that. Now I do have 6 DIDs ( one is out of commission after I torched the center post brittle). I think having several to chose from helps...

    I have been using the 270 from the beginning. I ordered it before my DID ever arrived. My primary reason was to try to find a wick that I could vape on the Katana without standing on my head. I prefer the 270 to the 325, can't say there is a difference I wicking because the DID wicks like crazy...

    I found a great cleaning method for a torn down tank. Buy some denture cleaning tablets. Dismantle the did and put it in a cup or something with a denture tablet. I did not take off the o rings and it didn't harm the. 5 minutes is all it needs to soak and voila a shiny clean DID even the brass...

    I don't recommend torching your wick while it is still in the DID (what kind of crazy lady would do such a stupid thing) :oops: The torching makes the brass center pole brittle .....mine crumbled shortly after I got through torching it. Thankfully I have a few DIDs to use until my new center...

    The provari is tough. I have 2 and I have dropped mine several times, one time it flew across the concrete, the DID got a small scratch on the top cap, the drip tip broke off and the Provari was unscathed. I think the DID took the brunt of that fall.

    If I did a 6 wrap with 32 awg my ohms would be at 3+. I get between 2.2 and 2.4 with a 4/3 wrap. Have been thinking of adding a wrap to increase my ohms and save battery life.
