If You are THINKING REOS, but don't know what to ask....

The one pre-use thing you should do is cut an inverted "V" in the bottom of the feed tube, to keep it from suctioning to the side or bottom of the bottle. Then, as said, fill er up, slap your atty on there, give it a good squonk, and make SURE the fire button isn't in the locked position. At...

I have no clue what I'm doing wrong?

Be aware that sometimes, the button covers can slide down too far on the firing button, and when that happens, you can get intermittent or NO firing at all. The fix, although you said you're no longer using them, is to insert something inside the button cover, to keep it from traveling down too...

thinking about getting a squonker aka Reos/Woodvil

You "can" use a kick, but most people find it's more trouble than it's worth, and just something else that can fail, whereas the "stock" REO has very few potential points of failure (mostly shorted attys). The thing is, a kick compresses the spring so much that it negates the springs ability to...

If You are THINKING REOS, but don't know what to ask....

Just a quick follow up on the button mashing. When you get it set up, hold it up to your ear and gently press the fire button until you hear a sizzle. THAT's how hard you need to press and no more. Pressing any harder doesn't change the vape you get, it's an electrical connection :) And as...

If You are THINKING REOS, but don't know what to ask....

Which atty depends mostly on your vape style. If you want dual coil (more vapor) then go that route, if you Mouth-to-Lung, rather than direct to lung, let that help make the decision (direct will need adjustable airflow or larger hole). I've only used the RM2 (well suited for MTL vaping...

    Reo Roll Call

I'm pretty sure Elvis uses a REO, Superxdrifter does, and Evel Knievel would have, if he could have. :) But like you, I wonder if there are others anyone has heard of.

Joining the Reonaut Tribe: Did I Do Well? ;)

You've done an excellent job "prepping". Now that your mod/batteries are all settled in, you should check into unflavored enic juice. Myfreedomsmokes and Wizardlabs sell it for around $45 for a LITER, and that's in 24mg, so if you thin it out like I do with pure VG, you're talking roughly...

    REO Pit Stop

I have 6-8 REO grands, 1 is my ADV, one is for the wife, and we each have a backup. The rest are on the shelf. Wife and I each vape only 1 grand, all day, everyday, and swap it with it's backup maybe once every 2-3 months for a thorough cleaning/maintenance. I have to admit, if I ever win the...

    Reo Roll Call

I think it's a classic case of latent demand here. Everyone holding off to try to snag a woodville, this is the first week I can remember that we haven't added anyone (yet). Rob, I hope the plane gets to SA soon, I need to dust off the graphs :)

Just got my Reo...this is a HOT vape! No, really...

You can compensate a tad, by drawing faster and harder, thus pulling more air to cool the vape. Also, consider your nic strength. I was a religiously devout 24mg vaper when I ran a single 1.6-1.8 ohm coil, but .6 (net) on dual coils in an Odin forced me to drop to 12mg.

Sale night isn't for the timid, or faint of heart. Those of us on the more squeamish side, tend to sit back and watch, twitching nervously from time to time, while the "players" jump into the fray with both feet. It's the one time when all the camaraderie and goodwill are gone from the...

    Battery arcing

If you have the upgraded contacts (gold colored) use Deoxit Gold, if you have the old contacts (silver colored) the Noalox is fine. My guess would be at around .4Ω, once a week would be prudent, but someone that vapes that low a resistance may be able to give you a better idea. I vape at .6Ω...

    Battery arcing

Yes, and yes. I.E., the VTC4s will work fine, but you'll get less arcing (as, as a result, less maintenance) with the AWs (because of the button tops)

Is it beneficial to replace a coil just because you feel like it?

Good question. I've been running the same coil(s) in an Odin since Jan 10th, I just checked the Ωs yesterday, and it's the same (net) .6 it was when I built it. So I just dry burned and kept on vaping. I gotta say, as best I can remember, it's vaping the same as it did when I built it...

    happy early birthday to me....

I used cartos and atomizers with my REOs when I first got them. The only downsides to them are cost, and sometimes, they'd die in 1 or 2 days. But they *do* work, just not nearly as well as a rebuildable.
