Generally, you just use a bit on the spring itself (and the other parts), although some folks remove the spring and remove the finish underneath it, so it makes better contact with the actual body. Re: your question about 2 pieces. The body is milled from a single solid block of wood, the door is a single piece as well. Robert once posted a video showing the milling process on his CNC, but I can't find it anymore. Fascinating to watch, though.- ancient puffer

REOs ship with one included, a spare bottle, some noalox. You should be good without ordering an extra. I've never had an autofeeding problem.- ancient puffer
