    Ordered my first REO!

I hate to be "that guy", but there's an error on your invoice. It only show ONE of each item, and I'm sure you planned ahead and ordered TWO of each, right? Oh and the address is all wrong, I live in Virginia. :) :) :) Seriously, welcome to REOville, and, as noted, pics are mandatory. I'm...

    Reoville's favorite juices

There's a surprising number of us who vape unflavored nic juice. It has quite a pleasant flavor all it's own, and can be had for @ $45 for a liter. If you dilute it with VG or PG, you wind up with even more. Wizard Labs and MyFreedomSmokes seem to be the most popular sources for it in bulk...

    Hello

Ok, for those of you on the fence about the purple, the solution is simple. Buy a purple door. Then, if you like it, get your next REO in purple, with a compatible color door to go with your current REO(s). Then again, if you decide you don't think the purple is "manly" enough, you can just...

You're right, Papa, but what about all the other people that want one? ;)

    Button cover

The location of the button is dependant on the "model". The metal mods all have the fire button on top, the wood mods have it on the side/edge. I only have the metals, so can't really compare them for you. The woods are only available when Robert gets time to build them, but there's a sale of...

Don't skip the ohm check, save your spring!

Either the top cap of the atty, OR a metal driptip can cause a short, so it's a good idea to test your build after it's all put together. If you build on one of the box style ohm checkers, it's just a matter of putting on the top cap and take a reading. If you don't build on those, you can use...

My Reo showed up. This thing is crazy!

If you can post a pic of the tip so we can see it, we can tell if it's been "modified". If you didn't buy it new, you probably want to do a rebuild anyway, just to get the upgraded contacts. They give you less voltage drop, and don't require as much maintenance as the "old" (silver colored)...

My Reo showed up. This thing is crazy!

Robert is right as rain (as usual). Silica is all I use and I get 2 to 3 months out of one wick, doing a "dry burn" every 10 to 14 days. And you don't have to burn it to know when you need to squonk, the vapor production just drops off a tad, so you squonk and keep on truckin' (vapin') :)

How to prepare for the next Woodvil sale night...

Due to recent activity on the upcoming woodvil sale thread (400? Yowsa!), and since there are many "new" reonauts on board of late, I felt it would be beneficial to resurrect this particular thread. I'm hoping everyone will read, and take to heart all the sound advice given within :)

    Reo not firing? Plz help!

Did you ever figure out what caused the short?
  17. ancient puffer

    Reo not firing? Plz help!

The risk is, if the short is still present, you have no safety mechanism. So, potentially, you could have a thermal runaway, or, at the very least, ruin your battery, and all the replaceable parts of the REO. There is also a possibility, although slim, that you could actually injure yourself...

Ohms Law and Battery Safety made simple

For those battery checkers, red goes to positive (nipple), black to negative. But you can do the same thing with your new meter, just set it to lowest DC Volts setting, if it has more than one. ETA: I'm using the 2200's. I *think* the 1600's hit a little better between 4.2 to 3.7 volts, but...

    Wicking with KGD

Sometimes, a "wet hit" can mimic a dry one. If your coil is too low, it can keep the extra juice from draining back down, resulting in a "wet hit" (too much juice for the coil to vaporize properly, weak harsh vapor). Just a thought.
