    Exactly my thoughts. I had one other Innokin (one of the Leas I had) that the red led was dead on arrival. Return it if it's still under warranty, just use it if not.

    That's pretty clever. It's a drip tip that fits OVER the carto, instead of IN the carto. I image it would work with just about any 510 carto, but with the V2 tidy cartos, it's the only thing that would work since they use a single bung with no filler material. I can't seem to find them...

    Correct. The Innokin Lea and Lea Kross were the same way. The short is usually in the atty/carto so replacing that usually solves the problem.

    Well, I've dropped mine from mouth level (granted, I'm only 5'5") to a parking lot with no ill effect. Just a tiny scuff on the end. I suspect yours either had a minor defect that caused it to fail, or you were just really unlucky and it landed just right.
