All I can tell you is that my Leo is not marked as PT in any way, but I can chain vape it while it's charging with no problems what so ever. However, does have a sealed battery. So, if a batch got through, it looks like mine was one of them.
Here's my feedback:
I put in a simple order. Just a few blank 801 carts for my Leo, and 2 spare attys.
I had searched all over the place because the atty that came with my kit from another vendor popped, and nobody seemed to have them in stock.
My order from VitC was processed quickly, and...
You're certainly right that not all PC USB ports are fully powered, especially front panel USB ports and USB ports on laptops, plus, just as you say, some computers will power down USB ports when the computer is idle.
However, I still say a powered USB hub is a much better solution that AC-USB...
Same deal with laptops. A lot of laptops don't put full power to some USB ports. Again, same deal if you have a USB port on the front of your case.
In any event, a powered USB hub is your friend.
Dripping vs carts vs cartomizers is entirely a matter of preference. Each has it's own strengths and weaknesses.
As far as the default wicking material, yeah, it sucks usually. You'll see a TON of cart mods that work MUCH better. Do a search for blue foam, ADM (Auto Drip Mod), and ZFM (Zero...
I don't believe they are any different. The only thing that makes this interesting is that Blu has been in the game for quite some time, and switching from carts to cartos now was pretty unexpected.
There are lots of good reasons to dislike the Blu, but this isn't one of them.
The vast majority of e-cigs I've encountered use batteries with female threads. (all 510 stuff for instance)
Further, there is absolutely no difference in terms of the likelihood of cross threading or the...
I own a Revolver Elite and I love it. However, it was not enough of an e-cig to keep me going for more than a couple of months. It is absolutely the exact size of a regular cig, but that comes at a cost to performance.
The Bloog, from what I've read, is a beefed up KR808d-1.
In your original...
You're probably right, and he probably doesn't need to worry, but he's talking about something completely different. Different heating element, different plastic, different size. What you're using is a rebranded CE2 with a clear body. What he's talking about is a monstrous carto that will...
AMEN!
It's not an easy switch for some folks. I know that I really needed something that felt familiar in my hand. I've mentioned before that for a long time after I started vaping I would flick my ecig every couple of drags as though I was flicking off the ashes.
Even now, while you see...
Nice link!
The only ones I've seen that really looked like a pack of smokes were with super-minis. Revolver usually carries a nearly smoke-pack sized PCC for their gemini that would work with any standard 510, but they were getting it redesigned and have been out of stock for ages. That's...
That part is solid advice.
Try a drastically different liquid or a different PV. Been using a 510 or an ego? Try a KR808 or a pig-cig, or an 801 or Leo. Been vaping marlboro flavor? Try peach.
That kind of thing can really open things up.
The 'campaign' was before my time, but I heard about it on another site. I guess it was so bad they had to ban all discussion of blu for a while which forced all the blu fanboys to start up the blucigforums.
Never heard of Red Dragon, but I'll check them out for future reference even though...
I can't answer on the cartos, but I can answer about the cable and charger business.
In short, you're trying WAY too hard.
The ego passthrough uses a standard mini-usb and will work from any powered USB port.
For the cost of a 10 foot USB cable from Walmart, you can buy a powered USB hub from...
Vaping a blu cig and searching for something better. lol
Then I moved to the Revolver Elite (the best super-mini on the market if you ask me).
Then a Revolver Vgo.
Then a Boge Leo (great except that there's only one option of atty and they're so new that it's hard to find parts...
Just to be clear, for you and for anyone else who reads my comment, I didn't mean it in a negative way at all. I referred to the Revolver Gemini the same way, and a quick search of my posts will show that I am a HUGE fan of Revolver. Right now (since I'm waiting for a new atty for my Leo) my...
I started with a Blu, and while I quickly moved on, I think they got an unfair wrap. Yes, they're junk compared to a 510 or KR808, and there are better super-minis out there too if you really want a super mini. But, they are usable, and I think they are 'just' good enough to make a lot of...
Okay, to the OP, take this guy's advice, and the advice of whoever he was "seconding" and ignore it.
It's TERRIBLE advice.
The ego isn't even CLOSE to what you're looking for. This has been discussed a couple times lately. When somebody is brand new to vaping and has a very specific list of...
