what's the purpose of this mod? is it just for looks to show more of the provari top cap? or does it remove any wobble from z atty when sitting on the provari
honestly i can't find any fault with the old ones... the only thing i do when i first start a new one is take trim the wick a bit so it's not completely blocking both holes.. then it lets air out and wicks perfect.. i have two genesis attys.. the DID and a Z atty pro and dare i say the old ones...
i think i got a mix up too.. got 2 packs of 510 reborn and got 2 packs of 808.. and i have no adapter.. doh
also the juice capacity looks to be less than the old ones.. even from just looking at it.. the space is a lot shorter..
i didn't know the fill hole screw can be adjusted .. i either take it off or tighten it all the way down.. i figure the threads are air tight once engaged.. i'll try that..
i did see some boiling a few times.. so im flooding.. how can i reduce that.. i tried putting the fill hole nut back on but i got dry hit after 2 hits.. the wick top is already pinched..
the wick i currently have is 40x40 and i can fit a paper clip thru center... 4/3 wrap @ 2.0ohm... 4.0 on the provari and mediocre vapor at best with the air hole lined with wick..
very frustrating since it seems to be a perfect setup and yet no where close to the ammount of vapor i see on...
this is how mine is set up right now.. pretty thick.. with a hole big enough for paper clip.. but im getting mediocre vapor at best.. with no screw in fill hole.. if i put fill hole screw in i get dry hit..
i thought maybe if i made a thin walled wick with a giant hole like a straw i can get...
please tell me in your experience everyone which is better for clouds of vapor on the did
A. a solid roll of mesh with a tiny bit of hole in middle
or
B. a fairly thin walled mesh much like a straw with large hole in middle
assuming my mesh is 400 and juice 70/30 and rolled to fit snug in the...
nobody?
let me ask a simple question then.. for best genesis performance.. should my wick be:
A. a solid roll of mesh with a tiny bit of hole in middle
or
B. a fairly thin walled mesh much like a straw with large hole in middle
:)
how do i prevent my DID mini from over wicking.. im using 400 mesh and 32gauge kanthal.. i use a square piece ofr 30x30 ish mesh..
4/3 wrap 2.0ohms and i leave the other nut off.. if i put the other nut in the hole.. i get dry hit after 2 drags
but if i let the did sit.. first few hits are...
when i use the other nut to close off the 2nd hole.. i get dry hit after one or two hits.. if i leave the nut off i think my wick gets flooded because i have mad throat hit and flavor but mediocre vapor even with cap hole aligned with the wick..
is there anything i can do when making a wick to...
thanks for the tip.. it does seem to produce more vapor after 2 or 3 consecutive hits.. but i already have the wick pinched at the top..
could this be caused by too much mesh material or too thick of a wick? when i look at the wick from just sitting for a while it looks normal and not overly...
hi all
so i finally made a wick with 4/3 coil that reads 2.0 ohms.. using 400 mesh and 32gauge kanthal.. no hot spots.. perfect glow..
but i get mad throat hit and not as much vapor as i do with a ce3 bottom coil..
i have the did mini and the hole is lined with wick when tightened.. are...
i oxidize the crap out of my mesh but always after rolled up.. i still get shorts and have no idea why.. i would literally sit there and use a butane torch on it for 30 minutes.. pop it in my DID and still get shorts.. wth...
