I have had the same experience with some builds I would take wick out dry fire and look for hot spots or shorts see how evenly coil is heating up. Check for wires that are not clipped closely, Is it a micro-coil? Bottom line I would dry fire and fiddle with coils with tweezers. Just my...

Ok got this Kayfun lite + clone set up vaping real good 28 Ga. Kanthal, cotton wick, 1.6 ohms, Nano kit polished Kayfun in matte finish Vapelyfe drip tip. Love it. Refilled today and changed wick so easy.

Kayfun Lite Plus: Wow!

According to the picture I see airflow control it is on the base on the side a screw that takes a small phillips screwdriver. I think all the Kayfun 3.1 have airflow control. You saw that it will not ship for at least 10 days? Good choice IMO. Good Luck watch some vids on how to build. :toast:
