Sounds like you got a few duds in your pack. I know it sucks, but either lower the voltage to whatever the carto's ohms imply, or just toss them and cut your losses. I've gone through tons of cartos, sometimes for weeks at a time with no duds, and sometimes with 3 out of 5 being bad or just not... -

ProVari mini + what tank for portability and performance?
I'd say look for one of the tanks that fit the shorter 3ohm Boge cartos for the Mini. I'd recommend the J-tank for a nice secure fit on the cartos. VG should be fine if the holes are punched a little bigger in the cartos. Or at least take a few drags without firing the device to suck some liquid... -

Well, there really is not much of a comparison. The rebuildables don't have any filler whatsoever. The steel wick has absolutely no effect on the flavor of your liquid so it tastes as it should. It's ridiculously cheap to rebuild. The GTUS is pretty heavy being solid steel, but it's even more... -

I'd say use a new carto. At $1-2, they're not worth messing anything up over it. It sounds like the Provari is protecting itself from a messed up carto. I agree, they do hold value as well as Provari. I love the vv of the Provari, but I love the convenience/whole package of the Reo as well. I honestly have the best of both worlds imo. Congrats on picking up a Reo. Some people decide bottom feeding isn't for them, but I think most people fall in love with the convenience and sturdiness of the Reo. I have 2 Grands and my Provari. That's my vaping dream team and I hope it will be yours too! Good luck. -

Ahh, it can't be any bigger than a Scubagen or a Gtank can it? The 5ml GtankUS is HUGE on my Provari! I haven't got my Scubagen yet, but it looks pretty friggin big too. That Surge thing is pretty neat though. It's not rebuildable though is it? It's just a bottle holding tube for bottom feeding? -

You could always try the 2 14250 batteries for 6volts in your mini! The battery life is a little short, but it'll work and you still get to enjoy the glory of a wooden bottom feeder! Just sayin'. -

What did you cut the tank with? I want to cut one of mine down but I don't really want to buy a $10 pipe cutter that I'll only use once, lol. I was thinking a dremel or even a hacksaw and then just sanding down the end I cut off. It's just a pain trying to get a nice straight cut like that. Oh... -
