    Yep that would qualify as fairly new :lol: Do you have a hot spring from a mechanical mod or something? If you do try putting it over the existing spring and make sure it's contacting the battery and the existing spring plate. I did this on a Reo and it worked much better, then I swapped out...

    Is your sony battery fairly new? I would rule out the battery before tearing into the mod.

    Probably the battery contacts and/or wiring. What mod is it? I have used a single 2100mah sony 30a to go to 30 watts using a 0.5 ohm and 2.8 ohm coil. However I couldn't with one battery holder I tried.

    I don't have a futura but I don't see how an adapter would defeat the built in RP protection. The adapters I have seen go on the battery. Plus a magnet is a cheap and easy adapter that sticks to the battery.

    That's a good question....you have one more than me :D I looked at HK and they are all 800mah. You probably won't find one much higher than that since you are charging via the dinky balance wires.

    Is yours a clone? If so is it the hcigar clone (clone with extras and ® on the box)? If it's the hcigar clone this might fix your problem without taking the base completely apart..... For knocking the chamber base out of the atty base this is my procedure....I take the coil attachment screws...

    I agree with Nouseforanick, I have both and both are my choice for 18650's right now. The best battery for you will depend on the wattage you vape at, but its hard to wrong with either of those batteries.
