    The "WeekEnder"

I'm not sure. Are you talking about the original Kick or the Kick2? Just an FYI the Kick2 actually outputs around 18 watts. I found this out with my new meter. I talked to Evolv and they verified that it does output more than 15 watts. Saying they did it as a mechanical mod vdrop compensation...

    Taifun GT: Real vs Clone

Sorry I didn't read through the whole thread but below are a couple of my posts from another thread. One note is that I did see someone claim that all the parts are interchangeable....In my case this is not true. The tanks interchange, but the chamber sleeve, chamber sleeve top, and chimney...

    The "WeekEnder"

It's basically the same as what you got....Minus the top ledge....and a larger edge on the stop side. I think I would feel comfortable enough leaving this open. Ill just post a link here. There were some subtle dimension changes so I will post a drawing as well.

    So something like this........

    The "WeekEnder"

Without the top ledge you could glue the screen in before or after....so it would be very similar to the original Mamu design with the addition of a stop.

lol....unless your me and the only order I tried using Speedpost Global Express got rejected at customs and sent back to FT who then reshipped it via Malaysia air. The original ship date was 12/13/13 and it just found US land (again) yesterday 1/8/14  ....hoping it makes it thru customs...

Mike I totally spaced this off :D....Remind me of what changes you thought could be made....The only thing I remember is a little larger area on the stop end cutout.

510 connections typically have a soft silicone/other insulator isolating the center pin from the rest of the connector. Too much pressure can cause the isolator to deform and allow the center pin to touch the housing.

Scope try what Tibs showed earlier and flip the tank so your not fighting the plastic threads. The authentic Taifun plastic tanks thread on like butter, I like the full plastic anyway so I just replaced my FT half tank with authentic full plastic tanks.

    Taifun GT Discusion!

Zip.....I say go for another TGT....maybe it's just that I flipping love the things....but I have kayfuns, aqua, flash-e, foggers, genesis, and others....and nothing touches the TGT for me. I have three TGT's and two go everywhere with me and the third is mostly used for experimenting.
