Click on the about fuses link in my sig for a very thorough explanation on fuses from mamu. I'm using two fuses in parallel, doing so halves the resistance imparted on the circuit by the fuses.
I'm using two of these fuses and they don't seem to be limiting current a full battery voltage. They might start to very slightly at 50w and the very end of the battery, but I doubt you would even notice it.

These are my results with my 6400mAh 90c lipo mod using a veritas atty with a dual coil 0.3Ω build.
Pics are taken while firing with a freshly charged battery.
I haven't tried it with single or dual 18650, but needless to say the lipo seems to be doing a ok :D
I truly don't understand the want for the 60amp raptor (or similar)????
They only have a 5v max output. I could possibly understand if volt max was higher.....but only maybe
Lipo's in parallel don't need balance charging because they are in parallel and are getting charged correctly with the correct type of charger like the SX350 charger.
I think I decided on the battery I will use for this build.
From the outside it just looks like a normal hammond 1590G with pimp lid.
But on the inside it's a 6400mAh 90c nano-tech power house :D
I got my stuff ordered yesterday :D
Using a n channel fet is exactly what I was thinking (even though I was reading the data sheet wrong for the TI board). Did you try it without the pull up resistor?
Sorry have been busy....and it was covered, but I have a good pic of how I do my parallel 18650 fuses. Because YES you want to protect them individually from each other in case one is put in backwards and one correct. Even if using the RP protection on the SX it wont protect the batteries from...
