I see lots of people talking about carto tanks, difficulty filling, difficulty changing cartos, etc. I figured id start a small but informative blog using videos to demonstrate how a cartotank can actually be as easy or easier to use than a clearo. Happy Vaping
My first video short (and...
It sounds like the tank is preventing it from threading on there fully. I used aftermarket orings which were thicker on my devices, and as a result everything fit with a wobble unless i used an ego thread cover. The thin one will fit on a vamo and you screw it on just far enough so the tank...

You should try out a carto tank. You can get an AGR tank cheap, and always buy a nicer pyrex if you find you like it down the road. Then just use unflanged cartos. I use Boge LRs but there are a lot of other options out there.

Well your battery will put out 4.2V fresh but usually settles around 3.6-3.8V. Mechs do have some voltage drop over the case of the mod, so you get a little less.
Once its not vaping that well you put in a new battery =)
Id recommend you use cartos/clearos/ etc at about 1.8-2ohms in a mech...
Yeah man a cheap mech like the one in my picture =)

A punched carto has a hole in the side, so you can put it in a tank. Non punched would be for just using the carto by itself. I use boge cartos in my tank, and they are punched, here is a shot of my setup. The Ibtanked is the glass tank full of juice that the carto sits inside of
Ive been on the same boge carto for a month now =D I bought 2 packs too, they should last me a bit. Are you getting punched boge cartos for a tank? I loooove my ibtanked with boges. Not sure if youre using them on a cigalike or what =) I use wordupecig.com juice, ive tried a TON of...
It is alum and brass. Nice and lightweight. I dont know what the big deal is, just dont crank your 510s down and you wont strip the threads. Aluminum is lightweight and an excellent conductor
No reason to only use mechs for subohm, they work great with a boge lr in a tank too. For 12 bucks whats not to like?
edit for other advantages:
All of your battery power goes to your atty, no electronics in the device. That means you get more vapes per charge
No electronics means the...
I use an ibtanked, just take it off your device, push the bottom of the carto into the tank, fill, push the carto back into place, wipe off, done. Its as easy as filling my clearos was
Did you miss the 510 pcc kit i linked? If you want a 510 cigalike joyetech is the way to go. They make a 510 PCC kit and its reasonably priced. Ive never heard of henley and it looks like a ripoff honestly.
Here is another related thread with lots of PCCs listed for 510s, you may...
Im with you. Tried carto tanks before and kept using my clearos after, and all of the sudden one day they just started being my thing. Much more flavor and consistency than any clearo ive tried.
I never prefill my cartos when using a carto tank. I put a fresh carto in, fill the tank, then...
I know you mention only the Reo and Provari but i wanted to throw out there that if you like carto tanks and rebuildables a regular old mech is also pretty awesome. Mine is a cheapy but im loving my ibtanked with boge lr on it so much my other devices may get thrown up on the classies...Plus...
