Definitely the melt and pour stuff then lol. you can melt it in the microwave in a glass measuring cup and it keeps the mess to a minimum

the glycerin melt and pour stuff is probably the way you want to go. Working with Lye around kids is just a bit more dangerous than I would want to mess with. Even the adults I have sit at the island and don't move when I work with it.

Waiting 2 weeks for the ash to soak and then filtering it out is just a bit too much work for me :) So I use store bought lye and the rest I do myself. I do have some glycerin melt and pour stuff around somewhere but prefer formulating my own soap so I can control the outcome. What ever way a...

Her son updated her FB page saying she's out of surgery and that everything went well.
