    Pila still the best?

    Positive so far on the VP1. Had a few different batteries to cycle through it tonight, and it handled them all as expected (18350, 18490, and 18650). Charging was pretty quick even at the 0.25 setting, and the digital display is just icing on the cake. No more hovering waiting for lights to go...

    I wasn't sure what charger to get, but wanted one with little fuss to replace my two Ultrafires (the 16340/18350 one, and another for anything longer). Was thinking of the Pila, but stumbled across reviews for the Xtar VP1 and ordered that as it won't need spacers, etc. Tracking says it's out...

    We bought one of those, but unfortunately with our open floor plan, all the cool air rushes down the stairs, pushing more hot air up :) The downstairs stays nice and cool though.

    I always laugh when people say I don't need it because I'd only use it two weeks out of the year... My upstairs TV/computer room has huge South facing windows, so from April through October it's always above 26C (78F) up there by the afternoon. Even closing the blinds doesn't help. Kinda wish...
