Steeping Times and an Ultrasonic Cleaner Part III

Zombo - I agree with returning the unit you currently have. The Harbor Freight one - http://www.harborfreight.com/25-liter-ultrasonic-cleaner-95563.html - is far superior. Looking at this link, there is a 25% off coupon. (Hmmm $85 minus 25% = $64.00) That is not a bad deal, especially if...

Steeping Times and an Ultrasonic Cleaner Part III

That's where I bought 2 of my 3... I also found a brand new food dehydrator for $6. that works well for steeping. The cheap and easiest way to test your UC unit is with a piece of aluminum foil. just insert a single piece of normal "kitchen" foil into water when the unit is on. In short...

DIY Advice: How many flavors should I start off with?

Yea, start with a small order of the things you like most. While you will buy a flavor (or 2) that you don't like, all is not lost. That's what you use to mix some juice for those freeloading friends... Remember, that plain base (vg+pg+nic) is a good vape without flavorings... Start small...

    Removing scents from syringe

Try soaking them in denture cleaner. Walmart has the effervescent tablets very cheap. 1 cup of very warm water and 1 tablet. Let sit overnight. Then, rinse well and they will be fresh. Well, it works on my teeth!! I also use this solution to clean the coil assembly on my Kanger T3s attys...

    Homemade ultrasonic!!

Actually, Mike went on to conduct more controlled tests. He made one batch of juice, put 1/3 in a crock pot, 1/3 in an ultrasonic, and left 1/3 alone. Then he sent a set of samples (blindly marked A, B, and C.) to me, Danny45, and Rocketpuppy - each in a different part of the USA for our...

    Suggestions on quality magnetic stirrer

I mix about 100 mL a week. I just let it spin for about 2 hours... I built this about 6 months ago. The fan came from an old PC along with a magnet from inside an old hard disk drive that you glue to the fan. The wooden box came from the kid's old toy junk box (a cigar box would do)...

    Question about unflavored e-liquid

One of my daily vapes is "plain". I started with a base of 50/50, added the 1.2%nic, and to this base, I was to add various flavorings as i mixed my way to stardom. In order to tell what effect each flavor had on the base, I kept an atty - Kanger T3s - full of the base to be used between the...

    TPA/TFA Recipes only!

Maybe not exactly what your are asking about - but, this sure is good. One Stop Flavors - 4 oz - One Stop DIY Shop Store (They sell smaller bottles.) Look at their Baked Cinnamon Roll in their in-house flavorings. I mix 50/50-1.2%nic and add 8 - 10% of just this. I honestly think I can...

    What strength nic to buy??

I agree. I prefer "safer"... True, 100 mg/ml is the most economical, but buying 12 or 24 and cutting that to 6 or 3 is not costly - compared to analogs and B&M juice... Even if I screw up totally, at these levels, I am still going to be ok...
