I'm in, but does the fact that I have other mods beside the Xl cost me points?
_more_ I was looking at the same one you bought in the classifieds but you beat me to it. Well, not really beat me to it, I sprang for a kit the day before and it wasn't even listed in the classified. Had a thread in...
Being one of the new Guys to Vmodding, I have to say at times it is difficult keeping up. I've been able to do so but it does take time. But then again, I have plenty of that.
I agree, sometimes it's confusing to remember which one I posted what response in. But then again, I suffer from CRS. It would make it easier to have one place to keep track of all we have to discuss.
As a former Fire Fighter, I know too well what was going to happen that dreadful day. Men and some women that had followed the call to dedicate their lives to helping their fellow man. I for one can never forget what happened to us that day.
My heart goes out to anyone who lost loved ones...
It looks like a new charger is in the forecast for me, I just took out a battery that has been charging, according to the wonderful green light, and it's showing 3.8v, which is not good. That would explain why my batteries are not lasting as long as I feel they should. And dumb .... me never...
I was leaning towards the Panasonic ones, I've heard they were very reliable and lasted a little longer then most. Still doing my research and that includes all the input from all the people I've been introduced to here.
I do have a question for my fellow Vmod friends, what battery are you using in your xl? I'm finding that the ones I have are not lasting as long as I had hoped. They came with the first tube mod I graduated to, almost a year ago. They come out of the charger at 3.8 but they don't seem to last...
That's pretty inventive tearose. Me, I'd just probably get a vinyl wrap and be done with it. But I'm a guy and my idea of decorating anything is "that looks good to me Honey". In other words, the Boss Lady does the decorating and I agree it looks great. Learned a long time ago, that's the best...
As I've not sanded the sharp edges, I can't really answer your question. But from working with wood and metal before, I can say that yes it can be done. An alternative to using sand paper is using a small needle file to soften the edges. May not take as long either. I've also used a knife drawn...
Haha!!! There's that big ol'Grill guy again! Makes me hungry every time I see it! YES ... I'll admit it ... I'm a hopeless (but HAPPY!!!) BOTTOMFEEDER ADDICT!! AND Ms. Darling ... A pathetic Mod-A-Month Club member!! Hehehe! AND ... I don't carry a "purse" ... I travel light! A little cash...
That's what I like about this thread, it's not strictly just about the vmod. Sure a lot of people here have just the one but a lot of us have other mods as well. And it's not about who has the priciest, the shiniest, the most elaborate or the least expensive. It's about what works for each of...
Thanks BJ43, that's what I was looking for, someone who knew the correct size. I tried 18 gauge wire but it was just small enough not to sit right. Now to find someone or some where that carries it. Course I looked on Amazon but no one has it in stock. Funny how a simple little thing like this...
The tubing from a ball point is too big. As is any other tube I have around the house. Not sure if the tubing from Bogger would work or not.
Do this, take a 510 atty that is not sealed, look at the bottom side of it and you should see a hole. That's the size I need for the Revolution, not an...
Wouldn't you know it! I sprang for a xl last night and what shows up this morning in the classified but another xl kit and also a 2.0. Just my dang luck, if I didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have much at all. Oh well, at least the Boss Lady still loves me.
Ms Tearose, that was the kind of feed back I was looking for as far as other people's experience with other bottom feeder. I read through all the(well not all but most of them) on the reo but something about it just didn't hit me right. The bogger looked good too but I couldn't justify the cost...
