Is that flat ribbon wire? I have some but not sure if I can use it, seems too thick to me.
I'll give the ss a try today, between golf, racing and football yesterday, I didn't get much too much accomplished. I'm curious if the ss will work on an A7.
Thanks Eddie, I do appreciate it. Before I got rid of all my rba's, like the RSST, a Did clone and others, I tried using mesh as a coil. I never could get them right no matter what I did. But I'll give it a go again. You never know, I may be able to get it right this time.
Ok, Need some help with my micro coil and cotton wick.
I've started using a micro coil and cotton wick on my A7 but I've run into a problem. The wick is not lasting long at all, maybe 2 days before it starts tasting funky and separating into 2 pieces. I used a 3/64 inch bit to make the coil...

I can't really answer that as the Panasonic is the first name brand I've used. I bought it on a lot of reading and recommendations here on ECF. The only other 18650's I had came with a kit I bought last year and they hardly lasted a day in my Xl.
Just wanted to drop in and say that my new batteries I received are working great. One lasted me 21 hours before it pooped out. I was using it on the xl with the A7 on it.
The other one is still going strong, at 7pm tonight it will have been going for 2 days. I'm using it with the xl and a...
You're welcome. I placed an order on the 14th of September and received it on October 2nd. Mine included 2 Panasonic batteries, so that may be why it took so long. And I've ordered from Vaportek before and had no problems with them at all.
Steamgolem, welcome to the club, you'll find a great class of people here. All are willing to help in any way we can and of course we welcome another Vmodder to the flock. Where at in Virginia?
I just saw this pop up:
$7.04 Helio Stainless Steel Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer - with airflow control ring at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
Not sure if that's what you're looking for.
I'm like you, I want to modify the ebaron to be able to take a drip tip.
And I also had to drill an air-hole for the A7 to work. Used the smallest bit i had for my dremel, still turned out to be a little too airy for me but I'm getting use to it. And I'm like you Kemosabe, I like the idea of...
I had to use 2 o-rings on my A7. One on the adapter and a larger one on the base of the A7. And I really have to crank it down to fire on my XL. I'm leaning toward getting the adapter from Avid Vapers and hoping it will be long enough to make contact.
Thanks Eddie, it is always nice to get vape mail. Mine has slowed down considerably since I got my Vmod. Don't seem to need as much as I did before, except juice.
Morning everybody, welcome to Terrible Tuesday.
Have a quick question for Eric, do you have an idea when the 510 bridgeless atomizers will be in stock? I really like them for my bottom feeders and as usual, no one can beat your price.
Thanks Brother.
Hurray, vape mail came for me yesterday. I finally received my order from Fast Tech, even with the added hassle from Chinese customs or what ever they are called, I got my order, Received the following:

Av8, Welcome sir. You'll find the nicest people here, willing to help out all that they can.
Kind of reminds me of Honda, you meet the nicest people on a Honda. Dang, I'm showing my age.
Personally I think that the bunch here are some of the nicest people around. No matter how dumb the question may sound, someone will answer it and do so without any animosity. And I appreciate them one and all.
Fourth, That's the ticket, don't give up. I admit, the A7 isn't that easy to build on, just takes a little practice. What did you use to make your micro coil? And chances are that when you pulled the old wick out, it may have separated some of the coils, it's happened to me. None of my coils...
