I'm not sure about the i3 attys, I do not believe they are low resistance. As for the LR ones they are 1.5ohms while standard joye510s are about 2.5ohms. So 3.7v + a LR atty will give you almost as much heat (watts) as higher voltage does with a HV (high resistance) atty at 7.4v and more... -

Perceptions of a Vapor Newbie... From 510 to GGTS
My reasoning exactly, I think the Super-6 is a great product, but for me it has one downfall. The batteries that can be used in it, while the GGTS can use just about any battery. To the OP, nice review and I can relate to many of your sentiments.- kaji

looking for cartridge tip for direct dripping
Save yourself some time and extra expense and get the Super T T-Tips. Nothing comes close to the performance and build quality of them. No need to tap or blow juice that gets stuck in the tip from air locking. If you don't like metal in your mouth, put some heat shrink over the end.- kaji

I am saying with "my" configuration that is the gap I have. You can probably get less (or potentially none, I am not sure) by using a different battery. Maybe look into CR2s instead of RCR123a's.
