"Is my build safe?" - My concerns

You're right. I've seen some online vape stores saying nothing about the safety aspect. They just sell. In my opinion: Every B&M should check the buyer understands safety. If not, the seller should freely teach the buyer. An online store should send full printed instructions and safety...

    k-100+ finally!

And me. Just ordered a k100. I've ordered a silver model. Need to see what it looks like in my hand and how it looks with my RDA. Once it arrives and I've given it a look, I'll buy my second if all is ok with it. It's me future proofing myself should the FDA go a way that's not to my liking...

FDA So what might really happen with regulations/bans? Should we be stocking up?

I've just purchased a mech mod and RDAs. I think they're the most robust of all kit. Others will disagree. Secondly, cut way, way down on nicotine. Currently around 0-3mg. Also gone VG all the way. Lastly, gotten to know what o-rings I would need should they need replacement, and where to buy...

    Whats your mix %? PG/VG

Olderthandirt: what's the Vodka mix? What's all that about?

    Whats your mix %? PG/VG

I've been on near 100% pg for a long time. Recently I'm using 90/95% vg. I think it's great. And so cheap and easy to buy. On 0mg, vg is the way to go. One bottle, a little distilled water and you're good to go as it is. Flavoring is not even essential.

Why I'm fed up with the vape community (mostly)

I understand the OP to a degree, and I see no problem with posting it. The over generalization was the bad part. I think the focus on courtesy is a good focus, and getting the balance right between not being in people's faces and not hiding our vaping for fear of the negative reaction of...

will a single coIL setup work in an rda set for dual coils

Today I've been using my MVP at 8watts. But I have a Mech in the post. I'm at that experimental phase with coils. My preferred 2ohms isn't likely to change though.

28g for mini protank 2 rebuild?

I think you'd need 16+ wraps. Way too many to fit. 8 wraps gave me 1.1 ohms. Try it out. But I can assure you, 28g/2.5ohm in a Protank won't happen. Even if it did fit, it would touch the sides and you'd get a short... Sorry Rip Trippers has a great video on using 28g in a Protank. Worth...

will a single coIL setup work in an rda set for dual coils

While on the topic: I've just gotten into RDAs, so thinking of using 28g instead of the 30g I use in my Protanks. The only thing is, I need around 14 wraps of 28g to get what I want, (2ohm), rather than the 10 wraps of 30g. Would this be a problem in any way? Sure the 30g would take longer to...

OK, it's not a selfie, but I couldn't resist. My wedding day last month. Second pic; on way to honeymoon in Japan.

The final countdown to August 8th - your FDA comments NEEDED

I'm English, but still, just posted mine. At the end of the day, we're all in this together :toast: Besides, what happens in America, does tend to set a trend for other countries over time. Now there is only hope. Hope that the proposal will either be changed or if unchanged, will be...

    hangsen premade juice anygood??

Living in China I'm limited to Hangsen and Dekang, unless I want to pay way too much for imported liquids. What I'd say is that Hangsen really is ok, but be careful, as Hangsen license other companies to produce their liquid. Although the Hangsen name usually remains the same, the packaging...

    Rebuilt my Nautilus coil

Nice one. One of the things that put me off buying a Nautilus was the coil which I was told cannot be rebuilt. Yet as with most coils, there is almost always a way. I found a video on yuku, (a Chinese video sharing site), with this guy building a Nautilus coil. Not the best of videos by a...

    rubbing alcohol

The thing that bothers me with this is that the Rubbing Alcohol may shorten the life of the o-rings. Tanks will last forever, but the o-rings will not. That's why many lubricate them. I believe that Rubbing Alcohol may dry them out over time, and that's when they'll start to crack.

    Are Regulated Devices Future Proof?

Good answers, all. I hear many scare stories sometimes about the future of vaping. I have considered going down the Mech Mod route to cover myself. But really, how much can a person cover themselves. Even with the best kit, it's an almost impossible task to be 100% future proof. I often...

    Are Regulated Devices Future Proof?

It seems there are two current paths when buying vaping kit; Mechs and Regulated. Mechs can be cheaper and are sturdy. Regulated devices give a constant vape are have safety features. But what if the FDA were to place a ban on EVs? If the mech would outlast the Regulated, then Regulated...

Anyone planning to stop vaping eventually?

I'm on my last 100ml of 6mg. I also have around 50ml of 0mg in the cupboard, which I vape occasionally. I've just ordered another 150ml of 0mg, not planning on getting more 6mg, but I may. And I'm also looking into getting one or two mech mods, another PTII and a couple of Kayfuns and some more...

Why isn't a mech for me?

Exactly! Mechs seem durable in more ways than one. As ECF members often say, "have back ups of your back ups." In this case, have back ups of your EVs, know one knows what's around the corner.
