I see, we had a busy day in here! Very cool! I also see, our Perseas was busy, 'being him'. What a pleasure!

Since my stroke, I can do ALMOST NO math in my head. I 'came back' well enough to do somewhat complicated math with pencil and paper. At least, on a good day. I'm not complaining. I have come a LONG way! After the stroke, I couldn't tie my shoes. So, IT'S ALL GOOD! :)
We weren't allowed to use a slide rules in school. Learning how to use one, was always on my 'just for the fun of it' to-do list. My Father always used one. I still have his. Maybe, it is time to learn how. :)
The good old days..
Write my COBOL code on coding sheets... Keypunch my cards... Run them through the card reader... The SPO would print out the start of my job, any messages I had placed in the code to show progress, and the end of my job. I could go on..... :)
Yup. :) After we starting using cell phones, we realized the negative impact on business. So, we insisted the employees only use the cell phones when absolutely necessary. All of the bosses had the radios in their offices, vehicles and homes. That is a great deal of expertise listening to...
My GP Family makes me smile. :)
BTW: I remember when we went state-of-the-art, and bought our key employees 'bag phones'. Before that, all of our communications were done through our company's radio channels. All key employees, had radio systems in their homes and vehicles. I actually miss...

I had a conversation with a very old friend today. He told a funny Ellwood(Hubby #1) story. It was about a day, I remember well. There are so few still with us, who remember my Ellwood. It was such a treat to reminisce... :)
