    Before I moved here, I didn't know either. It is a patio under the roofing, and is screened in. Most houses here have them. Most houses here with a pool, also have a pool cage that extends up and out beyond the lanai. :)

    It gets cold here. Mostly at night. We have had some record lows recently. And, I live on my lanai. I rarely go into my house. And, I never sleep in there. No 'air' in the summer. No 'heat' in the winter. So, I feel whatever nature throws at us. :) Plus... I have poor circulation in...
