    I think that's exactly what happened. There is a patch near the bottle that is shinier than the rest of the inside. I'm guessing it's the sight of the spill/overage. I cleaned up everything as best I could yesterday with cotton balls, but the smell lingers. Great suggestions in the thread...

    Filthy: Thanks. That's where it is now -- resting in a bag of Chocolate Macadamia coffee. If it ends up smelling like the coffee grounds, I can live with that. :)

    Thanks, Patrao. I took it apart as best I could and continually it through cycles in an Ultrasonic cleaner. That doesn't seem to have done anything to remove the, uh, scent. If all else fails, I'll give the vodka a shot, but I really think it's in the wood.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I think I've cleaned up the parts pretty well. Seems to me the smell is embedded in the body of the Woodvil, but it's worth a shot to try them all. I can't use it like it is, and I certainly wouldn't try to sell it like this.

    I recently purchased a used Woodvil and it apparently maintains the smell from the previous users vape -- unfortunately a tobacco scent that I don't care for at all. Any suggestions on how to get rid of the smell without damaging the wood?

    There's nothing in your post to indicate you intended a humorous message. I apologize if I misread your intent. Whoever opened theirs up, splayed the wires, and then suggested it came from Hana like that is a jackass, a fool, and/or a liar.

    Come on! Why do you do that? Someone has obviously been monkeying around inside the mod. I have one about 2 weeks old, and the wires look nothing like that behind the glass window. Feel free to bash Hana, but misleading the others on ECF doesn't help them make an informed decision.
