Griffin tank help plz
When youi cit the wick, cut it at an angle to go along with the angle of the deck. Cut them just long enough to tuck into the cotton retaining ring, no need to stuff wick down the coils. If you have too much wick and stuff it down there, that might be why you have dry hits. Watch a few vids... -
How long does a 30ft spool of wire last you?
I went through 200' of 34ga making coils for myself and a couple friends recently...in two days or so. So it depends on the wire.- Taowulf

If you absolutely, positively want to try a Clapton coil, you can buy premade coils from a online retailer like VaporTek or on Ebay. You can get premade Clapton wire where you can make your own coils from Youde or Geekvape, which is sold by many online retailers. Cost wise you are looking at...- Taowulf

Joule mode??
Nickel, titanium or stainless steel dpending on what your device will support. Whatever joules and temp you are comfortable with. If you are making coils, spaced coils work well, I used to wrap mine around a machine screw for easy and easy spacing.- Taowulf

Flat wire resistance
You can use Steam Engine to calculate the resistance of the coils. Personally, I didn't care for flat wire by itself. Geekvape Griffin RTA!
In the couple of days since my replacement deck arrived, I have had zero leaking issues from above the AFC ring. The top is also less wobbly. I get a lot of condensation under the atty, but I can deal with that. So glad I contacted Geekvape about my stripped hex screw and leaking issue. -
Need advice for SS or Kanthal and the size, coil building for Flavor
20 will take a lot of wraps to make coils that are not super low, 26 would be a better place to start.- Taowulf

The nice thing about SS or Nichrome is that they will heat faster than Kanthal, so if you are doing Claptons or other mult-wire coils, they will ramp up faster. But yeah, for standard coils or parallels, It may take more wraps than you want to hit your targeted resistance. And all that stuff...- Taowulf

Ever take a real good look at your cotton after a few tanks? Where it used to be puffy, it will have all shrunk together, therefore leaving most of the airholes uncovered and parts of the coil not touching the wick at all. There are two ways to fix this. Well, I finally received my replacement deck for my stripped screw issue, it only took 3+weeks thanks to the USPS losing the first one. -
Griffin 25 RTA leaks
If I am not using my Griffin as much, I get more leakage, not less. If it were less, I would say that you are right about it be condensation. But no, it is leaking juice from between the ACF ring and the top section. -
