    I made a couple of dual coils for the Mini Protank 3s today as my experiment with the 1.1Ω dual coil in my Protank 3 is going extremely well. Flavor is pretty good. Both are about 15 wraps around a 18ga needle, around 1.2Ω.

    I noticed a huge increase in flavor and a mild increase in vapor production, and I was also able to vape at a much higher wattage. I wish I could help you with the lack of increase in flavor. BTW, that is a nice looking coil.

    18ga needle, 30ga Kanthal 1.08Ω on a Taifun GT clone. Not the EXACT placement I wanted and I accidentally moved one coil resulting in a slightly reduced wrap on the top coil. I'll do it again this weekend. I am a big fan of microcoils.

    Hcigar Nemesis Clone, Taifun GT clone, MBV Blue Moo...with a iTaste VV on standby with Hawk Sauce in a Protank 3, and a twist and Strawbana. A couple other flavors in the background ready to go at a moment's notice as well.

    Just figured I would show you this as I finally had a sec to take a pic. This is a dual coil head with a single coil. You can see that it covers down to the cotton pretty well.

    It isn't a problem. The rubber piece will fill a lot of that in and your wick for the single will get the rest.

    Hey all, I received my first RBA today, Taifun GT clone. First attempt was leaky, too little cotton. Second cotton attempt was too much as apparently the juice did not fully wick and my cotton went poof. I got it right on the third try, 1.7Ω with no leaking. But I have a thing for dual coils...

    Dual coil for a PT3, works great, awesome flavor. I've been using it since Friday of last week, 1.18Ω. That was the best angle I could get, from the top you can only see one coil. Edited to change to link. Uploading to ECF reduces the size far too much.

    Hawk Sauce (as it has been for the last 3-4 weeks or more) in the PT3 with my 5 day old dual coil 1.1Ω microcoils and Moo Juice in a Stillare. I can finally taste Moo Juice! It is tasty.

    The vertical coil was working fine for a while, but it went sour last night, so I chucked it. However, my dual coil is working flawlessly and making awesome warm flavor laden clouds of pure joy. About as good as it gets....with a Protank.

    Less is more. As far as gauge of Kanthal to use, I've been using 30ga and it works very well. There are also some threads in the Clearomizer subforum that can help a lot. Here is a fuzzy pic of some coils I made earlier for a dual coil experiement. 11/12 wraps around a 18guage needle...
