    I am into water cooling PC's and if I had $1 for everyone that wandered into a watercooling forum and said "I cleaned my res with Isopropoyl alcohol and it cracked!!!!", I would have a lot of dollars. :)

    The mini Protank 3' are problem free (in my experience) right out of the box, and the Protank 3 just needs an airflow control valve. The base that comes with it is horrible.

    An airflow control valve could help that Protank 2 as well. I've heard tell of people using them on the minis as well. They are less than $5 is you shop around. I have one and it rescued me from an annoying whistle and airy draw on the Protank 3.

    I recently started making my own coils with 30ga Kanthal and cotton for wick. I use a VV Ver 3 and it has the same wattage limitations as your MVP. When using the Kanger coils, 7.5W was usually fine for me, but since making these coils which range anywhere from 1.6 to 2.0Ω 10-11 watts works...

    I looked around and the coil resistance is not stated that I could find. You need a ohm meter. Like this - Atomizer Ohm Meter Free Wick and Wire | eBay It looks like that is a cartomizer, so I assume you have a battery to go with it?

    I've had them change within .2Ω on the ohm meter. I just figured it was my sloppy newbie technique. :)
