    To those who are (sadly) new to the thread, LisaR is right...there's a few web sites where this is being discussed, and folks aren't finding a common denominator at all, in fact some people have said that the cards they've had hit haven't been used on line whatsoever. It's certainly not vape...

    One of the other sites where this is being discussed is Amazon, but not everyone who got hit with this used their card for an amazon purchase. They're thinking maybe a payment processor somewhere has been hacked...the 9.84 could just be checking for valid cards before a bigger amount is taken...

    Agreed...the other on line groups that are discussing this don't seem to have a common denominator as far as where the cards that were affected were used, and many are not Target shoppers at all. This is something different, going on for the last several days in fact.
