    You can also make parallel coils. Take two strands of wire (instead of one) and wrap your Coil. They look just like a normal coil, but are extra long.

    What is the low limit of them? Without droop. I think I just killed one. I was running a .25 Ohm dual coil in the RM4. It did not drop, but got pretty warm and is a bit shorter. I changed it out anyway, since it is a good deal shorter.

    The bottom is about that thick as well. I wanted to see how clean I could cut through the REO to make some designs on it. I gave up after playing with the bottom. Really glad I did not just jump in and start on the door or the back of it.

    Radioshack has some wonderful multimeters. I have checked mine with various cartomizers, and my RM2 in the store before I bought it. Just ask one of the people there to "help you pick out" a multimeter. Explain your use, then ask to test it because it is imperative that it works accurately...
