Edit: Thanks for the feedback and pics Talonius :)
I'm dropping a large device order Tuesday and I'm gonna throw one in.
I'll mic the O.D. of the batt and the I.D. of the cone sleeve and drill it out for a nice fit.
I'll get several size cones for tanks and see about making them work with a ego...
The heads seem to be made by different manufacturers, this seems true with all coil changeables, i.e. T2's; Vivi's; CE4+'s; ego 2.0 etc.
This is good and bad.
Good: made readily available (no waiting for production back orders); price $1-$3 depending on man. and vendors selling.
Bad: not able...
When I started using the T2, I noticed that if I didn't clean the new long wick heads prior to use, that I would get the worst dry hits ever.
Once cleaned, they rocked.
Juice for thought :)
Buggs, the Altsmoke CE3's are just rebranded BetterLifeTech CE3's. BetterLifeTech is the manufacturer.
There are several tips in the clearo section for them.
I don't have leaking issues, just the opposite, as I make slight adjustments to increase juice flow.
My juice is 70/30; 60/40 & 50/50...
With the new coil changeable systems, they are pretty much a CE2 tank.
Certain systems also have the ability to be recoiled if you want.
Other systems have the heads for $1-1.60 each, but the vivi nova coils seem to run higher.
Email from another vendor...
"There are, however, no eGo cone threads on the outside of the connector. What this means is that while eGo skirted cartomizers will work, eGo threaded accessories will not."
I have used CE2 rev4-6/ultimate's. I don't know what they mean by 'new wick system' as the ones I opened were a normal CE2 style just like the clearos of the same revision.
I have tanked both the steel and clearo style, but it has been a while.
I stopped using them as the top seal was a pain to...
I have devices that only have ego threading, that's why I'm asking.
Also, if I want to add a vivi nova for the wife, I want to add a 'ego' cone that tapers the look to clean it up for her.
I got my T2's from VaporAlley and they came in individual sealed bubble pack. No box or anything that said Kanger.
The extra heads were in a 5 pk foil and the black box looked identical to the boxes on Kangers site.
I only tried 1 CE4 from Microcig, I didn't care for it either. It's put up in...
Forth to answer your question, here are your numbers from the other post...
4.2v w/ 3ohm = 5.8watts, 1.4amps
3.2v w 1.5ohm = 6.8w 2.1amps
I'd say your are a 6-7 watt person.
So the only main difference is the lower amps draw on the batt which would indicate less heat generated on internals and...
Yeah, had my eye on it as I wanna give it a try. Someone said it was getting bad reviews, but they didn't link to any.
I don't know if they have hit the states yet, hopefully someone will come up with a link :)
Another thing I noticed, was that the wire was twisted pretty tight. Sorta like the bottom post in the T2 may have been twisting when she screws it on the batt.
This T2 is 2 weeks old, but the wife did drop it several times, so that may be part of it also.
I also noticed the outer shell had cracks at the bottom. Again, with her dropping it may have played a part.
I will be watching for the cracks from now on as her juice use to do this to the stardust...
