    Update: After I typed the above post I switched to the long wick heads w/o the cup. WOW...nothing but dry hits! I removed the head and adjusted the rubber seal and still get the nasty dry hit.     I think those clearos are the CE4+ (aka stardust) types and that is common with top coils. Clearo section may be of more help...link. Edit: I think there is a metal cone on top of the coil. One reason for this was to prevent hot juice from getting into you mouth.

    Now I'm interested in which heads are OEM. I've been searching and I haven't come across any pics of the long wicks in a blister pack. That doesn't mean they don't, I just haven't found any pics. So maybe the short wicks are in blister packs and the later revised long wicks are in bubble packs...
