    I thought about this the other day. The main reason not to use silica is to avoid the micro fibers that come off, but if it were wrapped in SS mesh then you would be avoiding that. I too am curious if this would work.

    Correct. So it would also stand to reason that if you were to use 30 over 32 and you double your wraps you should also achieve more flavor and heat by covering more area of the mesh.

    Other than the ohms change and it is a little thicker. You do the same process. Oxidize your mesh and wrap your coil. You would need to nearly double your wraps to achieve the same resistance coil as with 32 kanthal. 32 A-1 Kanthal = 1.2 ohms per inch 30 A-1 Kanthal = .7 ohms per inch

    I would think that a 3/2 of 32 kanthal would be pretty warm?? Mine is setup with a 4/5 of 32 kanthal.

    I get a little warmer vape from the Phoenix with SS mesh. But yes, the tank is the biggest advantage IMO. I don't think that you will be disappointed in your purchase especially if you have any experience in setting up mesh and coils. I have 2 now, and 2 more on the way from a CO-OP.

    He said a while back that he was going to get more in, but I guess not. I had an iTaste (Rev 2) as well and while I liked the overall size of the PV, I prefer larger mods. The EVO LCD is 1 cm in diameter and 13 cm tall, about the same as the lava tube. This has one of the best LCD screens...
