never thought of putting it on the batt :) i usually clean the old stuff off with a q-tip, and apply new with a toothpick. -

just a small dab on the very tip of the pin. if you push the button all the way down to expose the firing pin you should see it. if not, a dab on the end of a toothpick is plenty. just put a small dab on the end of the pin that contacts the battery. -

noalox is conductive grease. its on the firing pin already, and you will get a lil baggy of it with your reo to reapply after cleaning. -
