Never measured battery voltage, thanks for this info, 2.75v is minimum allowed for lion under load (5.5 for two batteries in serie), please measure it when it starts to display low. -

Usually empty batteries. If it reset voltage to 5.0 v then you have shortcut somwhere. -

Never had any problem. You also have warranty, they will replace you broken unit with next order. Ask for quote from few sellers, choose seller which is active for a long time (2 years) and find someone who wants to sell you 1 piece. HE, HE, I also ordered Lambo because of resistance and battery voltage functions, but now I saw new V8 and also Sigelei started Zmax with a lot of really great functions at almost same price as Lambo... I totally want all new models :) -

On the contrary, both connector failure I had with "heavy duty" version. With recessed (standard) version I did not have any problem till now. -

Small report after 6 V8 which I bought for me and my friends. 5 pieces are with new style connector and one is with old style connector. Electronics in all of them is a same. One piece has different battery connectors and it is much easier to put batteries, there is no need for any tools. 3... -

Technically V8 has 2.5amp cut-off and it is safe to use any battery, all of them are about 1-1.25amp, you will never have more then 0.8A from one battery.
