2 things to consider. It is the sanding that dulls the acrylic, that is when you lay on several coats with minimal sanding in between. That is why I like the Final Coat once the sanding is done, you can lay on 10 coats and never touch it with sandpaper again. The other thing is the petroleum in... -

I never use it as it is a hard finish and you live with it forever. I would think any high shine finish no matter the product will always show scratches on a mod as you use it heavily unlike say a piece of fine furniture. I would think a nice satin would be perfect on those. Oils won't work as... -

On my maple burl ( not stabilized but close in finish) and I accidentally used the high gloss which is VERY high gloss, so let it dry sanded a bit and redid with low gloss and it still has a very nice shine. I don't know what they put in the high gloss, but it looks like glass and shows every... -

I have been following that thread, but wonder if is not the Essence line from Hangsen. I use it but at higher concentration and like it quite well but i am a tobacco gal. Will wait for the hoopla to die down and try some. -

Not so good sad to say. Been quite sick and needs help. The neighbors have been very helpful and I got some home health coming in to help her but I just need to get down and help her out as soon as I can get on my own feet. I told her her timing was lousy! Thanks for asking. -
