Has anyone else tried offsetting the coil over toward the air hole?? I was still searching for a better way to build this, mostly because the vape was so warm and I felt flavor could be better. So I decided to build the coil off to the air hole side of the posts down close to the deck. It did... -

I haven't built my tank yet. I plan on using the mesh and silica that came with the kit when/if I do. Then cotton through the coil down onto the deck. I would think* once the cotton is saturated the silica should be able to keep up with some pretty heavy vapping. -

Maybe a little teflon tape under the o-rings would tighten the cap up??? I had to try the fit on mine after the comments, it seems fine, no wobble. Must have got one from early in a run. I think I've finally found a build that's working for me. I twisted three strands of 32ag, 5 wraps 3mm... -

Dripping some CLS in my EHPro Flashe. Triple twisted 32ag, 5 wraps X 3mm = 1ohm ~16 watts. Nice warm custard sooo delicious!! I may need to lower the nic.... I'm getting dizzy :blink:- downInTn

From the picture in your link, you have an ego type battery. These batteries have threads for two types of 'toppers'; ego threading(the larger outside threads) and 510(the small inside threads). Make sure whatever you get has one or the other. Mini protanks II are popular bottom coil...- downInTn

I think I may have just had a eureka moment, or it may just be in my head :P My kit came with two airflow screws, both the same i.d., witch were too small for my liking. I found that if I wrapped some 30ag around a 1.4mm screwdriver I could tread it into the airflow hole and the draw was good... -

@bce22, It will work. Most* people think 'micro' coils with cotton(a tight/touching wind, like what you see in dice's pictures) is a step above the old standard. It does take a bit of practice especially learning how to get the cotton density just right. It really isn't hard, look up some... -

Heh... go figure :-/ there is no way I could get the cap off of mine with one hand, it takes two with a considerable amount of force. Thanks for the link! I kinda like that mod holder also. -

Humm... My EHPro is so tight at times I'm afraid I'm going to damage the top cap of my mech trying to take the dripper cap off. I have no worries of it pulling off. As justdoeit says, maybe different o-rings. A set screw my be a good idea if the SS isn't too much trouble to tap & die some... -
