I think I'm gonna ask Rob to make two doors for my mini woodvil. One with some of the darker burl in it and one without. I don't know for sure, but it seems like the heavily burled ('knotty') part would be more fragile. -

On a good note, I got the two blocks of stabilized burl that I ordered. Sometime this week I'll ship'em off to Rob to have him work his magic and make me a new mini with a plank door :) -
