Before I forget to mention it (again), I lived in Lubbock for a while in the mid-70's. I really enjoyed my stay there. Wish I could remember my old address there, but it's been too many years and I've lost too many brain cells since then :D
Hi Dee! Yeah, WW does have a learning curve :)
I'm doing pretty well. I have fewer melt downs now and the melt downs are shorter in duration. My avi is a pic of Joyce and her Yorkie, Taggart. It helps to see pics of healthier and better times :)
When you get home from the dentist's office, start taking the pain meds right away. Don't wait until the xylocaine or nerve block wears off. You want to catch the pain threshold before it catches you! :D
We're enjoying a pretty Autumn evening :)
When I went from the U.S. to southern Africa for work, I was always a bit shaken over the season "switch." Going from one season to a totally opposite season within a matter of 24 hours seemed sort of weird :)
Hi Dustin,
As a medical technologist (hospital lab rat), my advice is that you try not to vape for at least 6 hours after you have the teeth extracted. It's important that clots form in the cavities (holes) left from the extraction. It's also VERY important that the clots are undisturbed...
Joyce took great pride in being from the Taggart/Ross clans on her mother's side. Her father was Norweigan - conceived in Norway, born in the United States. Talk about stubborn. I never met a more determined, stubborn person than Joyce's father :)
Yes, that's Joyce and her beloved yorkie, Taggart. We rescued Taggart and he was Joyce's constant companion. They were two of a kind - snarly on the outside, tender on the inside :)
