Glad I found this thread. I am going to try some more to get the magnet out. I didnt have much success last night but more soaking and Ill try some gentle tapping and see if I can get it out. -

Disaster trip: failed cartos, clearo's, batterys--a mess
trying to extend the post on the cartos to make battery contact is a good idea to try, it was something I had to do before in the past. I dont want to be "that guy" but perhaps its time to try a bigger battery, perhaps a mod? I couldn't imagine carting around all those batteries. My Reo...- JTman
