    I run a roland vr20 sound module.     Fender Strat, tobacco sunburst (like SRV, the man RIP) but is power with Roland electronics. Has a midi pickup and built in controls to handle the keyboard stuff I do. on my squire, I have this external box on the end it all plugs into. the buttons and switches are much easier to reach here...

    I really like them. I use lr though. much better th and flavour than sr. I use an ego pt with set voltage. the lr sd hits better than a dct
