I have more but want to see other people's.
I'll share this one, not bad for me but scared the band. we were playing in a well known bar in castlegar. I had been teaching our light man, Dave again, to play bass. we played an easy song, Greg Khin, break up song (we all know that one right?)...
worst gig for me was more about being embarrassed. the grand forks hotel. my mother had made a big batch of baked beans. I went for a visit and ate tons. so good. well we got to the gig and first set was started. I couldn't help letting a fart go... I was on the right side of the stage (playing...
I've had stuff take over a month to get here from spokane!! and it wasn't ecig stuff. all you can really do is watch the tracking and wait. canada post is so much more reliable than usps, regardless of the complaints hehe
always open to meet ups. nergost is my bud lives in new west wants to try out my double chocolate. I couldn't wait for it to steep. my garage smells like a bakery. it's so good, not sweet at all. I even have an extra 36mg vg nic base sitting here, I made up 65ml of 50/50 vg/pg 18mg double...
we are both in surrey, if you need anything to get going drop me a line. I order from china if I don't mind the wait, and order locally if I need juice etc in 1-2 days. stuff from usa seems to take as long as it does for china, and locally $7 shipping is a cheap option...
and that $7 shipping...
I just got another order from VG today. it takes 1-2 days with expedited for me. really I could drive to the place it's shipped from in about 12 minutes hehe.
I like my dct's and they carry parts. stardust lr on sale right now so added a couple as back ups (great little units to pack in the...
Take the stuff to a vape meet. someone will buy it. there's one coming up soon too. personally I just give the old stuff away, sometimes new too. not worth much once it's used anyway and if it saves the life of a smoker, I consider it a wise karmic investment
oh ya. and that wasn't the worst ;) ... just very memorable. it's those "interesting" times that actually make me want to go gigging again. the money isn't even a big deal to me. I just miss the fun we had.
Well hell. This new band is coming along. I play my acoustic guitar for about 3/4 of the music. we were rehearsing wed night and I played the acoustic for almost 4 hrs. I noticed my arm was getting tender. this is my fender sonoran. I look at road rash on my arm... hmm. I get home and cleaning...
There's been regulations on shipping batteries in place for a long time, just never enforced. I was bringing in tons of lipos from china for my rc hobby. I had a package opened by customs and it made it through. they knew it was a box of high voltage lipos and never did diddly. just a knee jerk...
I have my instruments hanging from the walls or in stands. easy access. having them out and setup makes practice easy, just grab something and play. if you have to take the time setting up and plugging crap in, it might be a mental deterrant to doing it..
so have an area setup, so you just come...
ya, I left music too late 80's. still kept a guitar around but just the old pos from xs cargo (which I gave away this years along with tyhe xs cargo electric hehe). online lessons are huge. I was actually working through mine some yeasterday.
best of luck and welcome back.
thanks. we actually rewired all the pa and such this sunday, moved equipment etc. sounds are coming along. if you would have heard the un eq'd version... it needed work. pretty happy with how things are going though.
we are rehearsing twice a week now and should be able to get out gigging...
