    I totally agree. I bought my zoom r24 for recording because it has faders and crap, no mouse clicks. it will sync up with a computer program but it has 8 inputs (xlr and 1/4") and 24 tracks.     That's funny. I used to collect 5th scale rc's and I have found it much cheaper to collect instruments hehe I am picking up a Gold Tone M Bass next. they sound great and much lighter to pack around. Love the feel of those synthetic strings too

    I use a tc helicon voice live touch. it is quite natural sounding... well for vocal harmonies. it reads the chords you play either by audio or midi and give harmonies (up to 4 additional voicings) based on the chord played.
