    An old thread, but I don't think it is an ego clone as most claim. It is a 2.8 volt device as stated in JC specs with a protected battery so it may be different in other respects also. But with this voltage the cartomizers may have been matched in some way with the battery.

    I don't think all bottom horizontal coil cartomizers are equal. I have "generic" 808 bottom coil and the Bloog blanks. The Bloog blanks last much longer without changing the taste of the juice.

    Yes, they have a plastic center tube that is between two plastic plates, one plate near the top with the bung/plug you have to remove to fill, and one near the bottom above the atomizer. The TW ones are made by Microcig.

    The AEL X1 is like no other eliquid I have tried. Really satisfying, but I can't vape it all day. Got 60ml of it when they had it on sale for $15. Also, it makes a good addition to other liquids.
