    zippo wicks

    I made two per instructions with genuine Zippo wicks and then tested them with a butane lighter. Mine did burn some, so I am not sure the Zippo wick is a good source for new Ego wicks. Too bad.

    Yeah, I bought some genuine Zippo wicks today to try this. I made two per instructions. Then I took my old butane lighter and held the wicks up to the flame and they seemed to burn and deteriorate. So, I am not sold on using the central core of the Zippo wicks to replace the EGO-T wicks.

    In looking at my 5 ml bottle of the Maxboro, I can't believe my 24 drops were more than 1/2 ml. These must be small drops that come out of these 5 ml bottles.

    It was not my mistake...the battery belongs to a friend and he asked me to try to find him a new battery despite my recommendations. I use a DSE 901 and Joye 510.
