Normally I'll just buy 10ml bottles and mix 5ml batches in those for testing purposes. The 5ml bottles are, IMO, useless as they're just too small and more effort to clean than it's worth just to use them again. If a mix is good, it goes into a 30ml. If it's great and one that I'll vape all day...
It's always best to start with 5ml samples and start at 5%. Most of the flavors you can go up to 10-15% before the flavor hits a wall (as with most flavors), but starting small keeps waste down and from there you can make small adjustments.
From speaking with Mike, they don't order from FlavorWest (which is who MBV uses). They use multiple manufacturers and go direct so there's no middleman. I've never tried FlavorWest's Rainbow Sherbet so I can't compare, but some of the flavors are similar, but there are also subtle differences...
The Rainbow Sherbet can come down quite a bit. The 15% is going to be really strong for most and with that much, it needs a long steep/age. For most, 5-10% is going to be plenty. A lot of them work in the 5% range, though most really need 8-12% from what I've found (they may come off strong at...
Indeed it is :). Silica is pretty much expensive everyone, in terms of how much you get for what you pay. If you can find a dealer that isn't specifically targeting the vaping industry, you may be able to find it a bit cheaper since most dealer raise their pricing. I moved to cotton because of...
Since you mentioned Kanthal, you may want to go through eBay. Find Temco Industrial Supply - Kanthal runs $5-$8 per 100 feet w/ free shipping. Probably one of the cheapest sources you'll find and it comes on a nice spool. The 32g is the cheapest, with 28g running around $8.
As an example, this...
If you have the short, skinny tips that are hard to pry out of the bottle, it averages between 48-53 drops per 1ml because the orifice is so small. If you have the older bottles with the standard tips (like MBV uses or with a slightly larger orifice), I think it's between 28-32 drops per 1ml...
You're free to buy the juice you choose to buy and spend what you want to spend. I don't think anyone is specifically criticizing you for wanting to save a little bit of money. As it's been said over and over, the majority of the posts were with your expectations from cheaper vendors, more...
I looked back through Todd's archive of videos to see what he did to set things up and he's using 3mm as well, it just has to be crammed in there tightly before you clip it and screw things together, but it didn't look like he had any issues getting it in there. As far as wire, it really depends...
For questions about substitutes, such as Acetoin, I'd get in touch with the guys over at NudeNicotine. They seem to be very knowledgeable and they actually use Acetoin in some of their flavorings in place of what would normally be used (i.e. Diacetyl). They seem to have done their research and...
If the Twist is like all other models, the light needs to shut off before you vape, otherwise it's not fully charged. It should run it's course from Red -> Yellow/Orange -> Green -> Off, with Off being fully charged and ready to vape. I made the same mistake with the vv/vw and had the same...
I don't put much trust into the FDA any more than you or the vast majority that know how idiotic most of the things that they approve are, so I agree with you there. No arguments :). With Chantix and other drugs on the market, which bear FDA-Approval, that's honestly enough to make anyone shiver...
If it were present and in trace amounts, like most would read it to be, the actual amount would be well below .4%. The information came directly from an upload that was provided by Tom to another member who shared it a while back as others, like some of the members here, were concerned.
The...
You'll run out of 24mg/ml faster than you will 100mg/ml and most vendors are going to be using 100mg/ml, unless they themselves have access to 1000mg/ml which they can cut down (MyFreedomSmokes does as they even sell it in that concentration IIRC).
Just as an example, I vape 12mg/ml. So making...
I'm not upset, it's e-liquid. There's far greater things to worry about in the world today than the price on a bottle of e-liquid. If it sounds good, I'll try it. If I like it, I'll buy more of it. If I don't I won't. That keeps things simple.
The point being made is that you have high...
I don't believe the member who this is most likely aimed at is specifically meaning to insult you, though you did insinuate that the conversation we were having, between us, was suspect, as if we had anything to gain from the discussion. If anything, the posts I submitted to this thread are here...
I posted this in another thread, though since that specific thread was about a vendors e-liquid, I wanted to post this in a new thread so it'd be easier to find and properly labeled.
Since many of us like Capella's Vanilla Custard, I wanted to share a report I found which was requested by Tom...
Suspect to what exactly? I DIY the majority of my juices and buy a few here and there from the vendors mentioned in this thread and those that have yet to be. Beyond that, I was replying to a specific member and have nothing to gain either way, so not sure what you're insinuating.
^ Agreed. If you're chain-vaping or hitting it hard, the extra power needed to heat up both coils is going to drain the battery faster. Are you 100% sure they're fully charged when you pull them? I know when I bought an iTaste vv/vw, even thought the light was green, I never let it fully charge...
